Embark on the certification journey: A five-stage process

The certification journey for a Peace Bond or Peace Equity instrument follows a structured process to ensure alignment with the Peace Finance Standard.

  • Prepare a framework with Peace Partners, describing how the Peace Finance Standard will be met.

  • Obtain a report issued by the verifier, confirming alignment with the Taxonomy and the pre-issuance requirements.

The Peace Equity certification process involves an initial assessment, third-party evaluation, continuous monitoring and comprehensive reporting to ensure that Peace Equity investments achieve significant peace-positive outcomes alongside financial returns. This structured approach ensures that investments remain responsive to potential changes and align with the highest peace impact standards.
